As the year ends

We would like to share with all our fans and followers that Central Iowa Artists Coop gallery is planning to continue past Dec 31st! There is a ton to be done before our gallery is sustainable as our sales must support us to the point where it makes sense putting countless unpaid hours into working and managing the place. Considering that we are in the midst of the worst economic crisis, it gives a glimmer of hope to see that there are people who still buy art for pure pleasure and increased quality of life.

Art is meant to be enjoyed and cherished. No, we don't sell necessities, nothing one can't live without. However, our products contain wonder, love, hopes, dreams, happiness and imagination. The expressions on faces of our visitors tell us that it is worth giving it a shot and continue into the new year. We hope that you'll support us in this endeavor. If you have not finished your Holiday shopping, know that we have just received a great collection of pottery and jewelry, everything at the best possible prices. Thank you for support!

Extended Hours- Black Friday Nov 27, 2009

After getting stuffed with the thanksgiving meal, there is nothing better than the next day shopping extravaganza. The official kick-off for Christmas shopping is Black Friday, November 27, 2009. Our gallery normally operates only in the evening hours during the weekdays, however we will have extended hours for Black Friday from 10:00 in the morning till 9:00 in the evening.

Great place to shop for that special artwork for yourself and find unique affordable gifts for those you care about. Happy Thanksgiving and Happy Shopping!
